The stock was for trials in Malaya....to see how long spray paint will stick to wood. I think we've seen this before.

Wonder how anyone's supposed to believe the aiming aid is a sniper attachment...reaching a little.

I think he just added sniper to the title so he'd get more coverage in peoples searches. His description of the item says it's an instruction aid.

I'm not too sure whether those stripes were ever trialled in Malaya..... certainly not in my time! Once you got through the primary stuff you could hardly see anything let alone painted-on stripes! Nope............ The insect repellent would remove paint, plastic and most other things PDQ! Or were you just being flippant Steve?

Me thinks the tiger stripes are a form of protection, Tigers are protected these days so the opposition won't fire on what he sees as a tiger in the scrub.
PL, the only thing that the insect repellants wouldn't do..........was to repell insects.

We had an insect repellent when I was working on the railways that attracted the buggers so the unknowing were selected to use it so the rest of us could work in peace, you know the type "Go to stores and get a long wait will you and while your there pick up a packet of wooden welding rods will ya."
Of course you have to have the store person in on it as well.
