Picked up a nice little handgun today

Vet bring back but unfortunately with no papers. Sauer and Sohn 38H in 32 caliber. With original soft holsster and two original S&S marked magazines. Eagle N proofs, matching numbers. Has that interesting cocking/deocking lever on the left hand side. Nicest WWII Germanicon pistol I have owned. I'll see about some pictures in the AM. Had to lay out 450 bux, but I feel it is worth it, especially considering how Nazi German pistols have go up in the last few years.

Sounds like a good deal! I bought one a few years ago and really like it. In the current market the 38H is selling for upwards of $700+. Very cool gun congrats.

Here's one on GB asking $595.

(I had never seen one before and just wanted to know what they look like)

That is a good price for any 38H, and a super one for a gun in good condition, especially if nicely blued.

Bought a nice 38h about a year ago. Dealer claimed it was reblued although can't find any evidence of that. It is an early piece with a low serial number. Mostly issued to the Fallschirmjagers (Paratroops) during WW2. Nice pistol, none the less.
