    Stupid Noob WASR-10 Question (assembly)

So I field stripped it to put my new M249 grip on, and was going to clean it...

Didn't clean it yet, but when I went to re-assemble, it now acts as though it's jammed...

I did not remove the cleaning rod when disassembling - but that shouldn't matter?

What stupid noob mistake am I making...? I am really, really tired, but I can't find anything out of place.

It's amazing what lack of sleep can do to you. It was in the "fired" position... which prevents proper reassembly. Noticed it right off this morning when I got up.

    *sigh*
