    Rock-ola on GB

Take a look at the cartouche and front band, buyer beware.

    Scott,

This guy is well known for his restorations with fake parts. He keeps on cranking them out. I hope no one brings it to this forum for opinions. They most likely will get their feelings hurt.

I'd never seen a dated Rock Ola Barrel either.

I have a dated Rockola barrel on an early Inalnd. It is marked 3-43 3/4" down the barrel from the top of the Rockola stamping.

Here is a pic and I added grease pencil to make it visible.

It looks like a mix of real, wrong era, and faked parts to me. By the way, there were / are dated Rock-Ola barrels. I think they switched to undated barrels in 6-43 or something like that. The early dated Rock-Ola barrels also showed up on some IP carbines as well as the early Rock-Ola carbines.
