    Different browning high power

Recently acquired a Browning high power that was issue to the Belgian police. Everything is standard except it has an alloy frame. The pistol is in excellent condition and has no unusual markings except for magazine which is police marked. I was not aware FN made an alloy frame Hi power. Anyone experience these? Thanks, Gary

Can you post some pics of it, Gary? I've never seen an alloy GP35, but I'm a long way from an expert on them.

Looks like a relatively recent model, ambi safety, external extractor, etc. I think it's an early MkIII model.

Here's the current MkIII offering, also asembled in Portugal:

Aside from the different rear sight, looks identical.

Inglis did make some experimental alloy framed ones during the 1940's too.
