I acquired these three Mausers during the past couple of months from local (Oregon) sellers. All of them have matching numbers.

Progression of the Mauser bolt. In each picture the M1891 bolt is on top. The middle bolt is the m/96 Swedish with the long non-rotating extractor and guide rib. The bottom bolt is the Gewehr 98 bolt with the addition of the 3rd safety lug, gas shield on the bolt sleeve, and large gas vent holes on the bottom.

The Argentine and the Chilean look as-good-as-new. Almost just out of the wraps. Are you going to shoot them?

Yes, I will shoot them after I make some ammo. I have been buying a lot of reloading dies, brass, bullets, and powder lately as all of the rifles use different types of rounds.

You learn to live with that. Even rifles with nominally identical calibers will often require slightly different die settings for best results. So I have 2 sets of 303 dies, 2 sets of 6.5x55, 2 sets of 11.15x60 ... all set slightly differently ... it's the only way to avoid endless die readjustments and the resulting mix-ups!

Very nice. Great pics. My first Milsurp was a 95 Chileno. Loved that rifle so much bought a few hundred more. Hope you shoot yours like I love to shoot mine.
