Question Newbie needs help with friend's bayonet!

A co-worker who doesn't have access to the internet asked me to post a Australianicon bayonet. After reading some of the comments on this site, I'm concerned about possibly posting a counterfeit. Don't want to do that! I have photos and know the markings. It reads almost identically to the one listed on the boards as a fake - the P1907 Hooked Quillon bayonet with scabbard. How should I proceed? Much thanks for any help provided!

Throw it out for inspection! Good detailed close-up photos will help much more than overall views. The only feelings that might get hurt are your friend's if he paid way too much.

As mentioned please post a photo or two. Your friend will learn what he has and anyone else will be able to judge and also learn from the comments. There are many fake Lithgowicon hook quillon bayonets or should I say "reproductions". They are easy to spot (to the learned) because of their markings. An easy one is the inclusion of a Crown which of course is English/ Britishicon and was never associated with/ alongside the word Lithgow.
