Got my new Enfield! Its 1917 Lithgow SHT>LE with an A above the logo inside of a shield and a roman numeral 3 underneath. On the upper receiver I see 4MD under that 16196 and under that 82717. On the stock large numbers going across 32383. A gold piece of metal the size of a quarter with I B 51 89... another marking on the stock is MA 3/45. I think I see a shield with a horse in it....and under that 1923.... and another roman numeral 3. So if anyone can take a shot and tell me a little history thatd be great. Id really appreciate it and love my Enfield Id like to think she was used in the trenches but I doubt it. Thanks again tons!!!!!Information
