Unhappy The missing T on some of the Long branch snipers

Looking for the reason on why the T was not stamped after the * on some of the early (1943) long branch snipers. Can someone shed some light for on this. Why I am asking for help with information does anyone know of a Ron Sanderson?? a collector in Canadaicon, the name was mentioned in a collectors meeting that he had or has quite a collection of sniper rifles. The collectors were not sure and wanted to know more?????

From what I've read and gleaned, Long Branch was developing their sniper program their own way. Their system for marking had not yet been established. Just because H & H did it one way did not necessarily mean it was done that way by LB.
The Maltese cross stamp is another such mystery. They are not seen systematically across rifles and parts.

There is a lot to be learned about these rifles.
