Odd foresight blade for No.4 LE

I have a Long Branch marked foresight blade about which I have few questions. From what a fairly knowledgeable buddy told me, the blades are marked in height increments with plus or minus stamps. This one has him stumped. Mind you, it's in an English foresight base so not really the proper blade for it and the stamps can be read either way so it's either "60X" or "X09", but I think the former is correct. It's a pretty high base from what I've seen.

The "09" & "105" were (are) blades for the Sten Gun.

When Fazakerly produced a large batch of No4 rifles that couldn't be zero'd (typical Fazakerley quality) they applied to use the sten sight blades to try make them usable.
Then there were other problems with the Candian sight blades :

From an old post by Peter Laidlericon

But there’s a little more……………. Our acceptable zeroing standards state after zeroing, the blade of the foresight will overhang or be level with the edge of the foresight block. If the edge is inboard of the edge of the block, then it indicates that something is wrong with the rifle. BUT, it was discovered that while the UKicon made foresight blade bases were .38” wide, due to a tolerance error, the Canadianicon bases were .43” wide. Without going into the technicalities, a rifle fitted with a Canadian .43” wide base could fail the zeroing criteria unnecessarily. So these Canadian .43” wide blades were all declared obsolete and withdrawn.[COLOR="black"]
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
