    12 Dec 2023 Garand Picture of the Day - 84th Inf Div





    On a break from the Potsdam Conference, President Harry S. Truman strides along inspecting a line of G.I.'s of the 84th Infantry Division at Weinheim (50 miles S of Frankfurt, Germanyicon), July 26, 1945. Stood behind him is the division's commander, Major General Alexander R. Bolling.
    He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose
    There are no great men, only great challenges that ordinary men are forced by circumstances to meet.
