    1903 Springfield Sear Differences

I read somewhere, I thought on this forum but I could not find it, that there are differences between sear's on the 1903's. I thought I read that one of the differences is that the early sears had no "hole" I'm assuming that means the hold below the sear spring, but not sure.

Does anyone know what the difference in sears is?

BTW: I broke down and bought The Springfield 1903 Rifles by W. S. Brophy so I'm hoping I won't have to bother you guys with questions you have answered a million times.

**** UPDATE: I found the information it was on vishooter.net - Thanks....
