I'd love to see photo's of it rgg_7. I have a very elderly acquaintance in the North of Englandicon who has a 1944 Maltby 4T. It is very pretty & he's as pleased as punch with it, but it's as wrong as a nine bob note & I haven't got the heart to tell him. He's also got a 'special lightened experimental' No32 bracket on one of his scopes. It isn't, it's actually an early one of my reproductions that has changed hands a few times & been 'modified' before being wound into him as something it isn't. Again, I didn't tell him; he's well into his eighties & I just couldn't do it to him......

If it is a 1943 rifle I guess it could be right, but it'll be the latest one I've ever heard of.

Did the O rings ever get to you, by the way? I posted them weeks ago, but recently I've had some stuff take ridiculously long to get to North America.
