Attached are a few pictures of our Vets Appreciation Day event held yesterday. After a week of rain we had perfect weather with lots of sunshine and temperatures in the upper 70s. Attendees included vets from WWII through Iraq with a total attendance of around 450 or so. Participants also included the local high school JROTC, the Marine Corps, a number of Marine Corps recruits, the USO, the local Boy Scout troop, and private firearms collectors, not to mention numerous volunteers.

Presentation of colors by the local JROTC/One of the WWII vets, a former Army shooting team member, firing an M1Aicon

Another view of the firing line with one of the vets firing a BAR/Some of the many firearms on display

Some of the millitary vehicles present including a Marine LAV/Flamethrower demonstration put on by the Marines who also had quite a display of firearms and uniforms.
