    Niedner started making these circa 1914 for himself and friends at the Boston Rifle & Revolver club. They originally had a Niedner barrel but some have had the barrel changed over the years. The stock on this one is one I put on a few years ago, the target shooter who had this really messed up the original one. I’ve been trying to locate more of these so let me know if you run across one. I missed a nice sporter made on one of these rifle years ago so maybe it will turn up again. “The rifles are single-shot with a “V” trough and matching bolt, all you have to do is drop a cartridge into the trough and close the bolt, slick loading.
