Hi,New member here. Loss of 9 pistols in 1997 UK handgun ban made me look at other disciplines for shooting pleasure. Discovered shotguns, clayshooting,PSG, lever action Marlins, 10/22`s and Lee Enfields. I now have five Enfields . A 4(T),No.4,No. 5, SMLE and a SMLE sniper. This last came about when I bought an old .22 rifle to recondition and found the dusty old scope to be an Aldis Mk2! This led me to an interest in sniping history and I put together a SMLE sniper with drawings from The Royal Armouries Pattern Room. It is as accurate a replica as can be made and is horrible to shoot with the offset scope. Most uncomfortable! I shoot a lot at Bisley and other ranges. Am a Member of several Clubs and reload for .357 and .303. I shoot more now than I did pre `97

Hi, everyone. I'm just completing my requirements for getting started in this forum. Compared to all of you, I'm sure that I'm a very small collector. My main interest is in WW2 American & German items (K98, M1 Garand, 1903, etc.). I'm looking forward to this forum's shared knowledge & experience.

Hello everyone, I came across this forum while trying to find information about a few different rifles my father had in his small collection. I've found the site to be very informative, & am looking forward to using its resources to help in my quest.

Hello from Central NC
Just want to say hello to all.
I have been struck with a desire to own a nice, shootable example of either a 1903 Springfield, or maybe an Enfield or a Mauser 98.
I know almost nothing about these guns, despite the fact my first centerfire rifle was an 03A3, especially as to what their current values are, or where to look for them for sale. Trying to learn about this is what has led me here!
