Which Bayonet would be correct for a 1943 Remington 1903-A3?
I have a 1903-A3 and want to get a reproduction bayonet for it.
Which bayonet would be proper?
Does anyone have a good source for reproduction bayonets?
Thanks,

You don't need to get arepo bayonet for it. There are lots of original 1905 cut downs aroud or even a '42 16". I don't think those reproduction blades look like anything at all let alone good. If you watch the WTS on this forum, you will find an affordable blade. There could be one there now!

browningautorifle is correct. If you do a little looking you will be able to find an orginal. I was able to find both a 10" and a 16" bayonet on e-bay. They can get expensive, but you should be able to find one.

I agree with the responses. Also, try a gun show or pawn shop.

Also, try the CMP - they have M1 10" and M1905 cutdowns for $65.00 with scabbard. I doubt you'll find a real one at a gun show or eBay to match that. I would not buy a repro.

Get an original from the CMP! Accessories Order a PB003SA. That will be correct for any 1943 rifle.

Order online, if you can. Go to E store, then Bayonets. Have you ever purchased from the CMP? If not, you must register. Good luck.
