A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Hello from Carrollton, Texas.

I am a veteran of the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne, and my regimental affiliation (when they used to have that) is the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment (2nd Battalion).

I am a Telecom engineer and a Ph.D. graduate student. This site is of great interest to me because of its excellent, historically significant information.

When I have time, I shoot and collect firearms. I am in the process of having an M25 built and have various other rifles and pistols in my collection. I am also an avid reader of military history, weapons development, and ballistics.

Hi everyone. I'm new to the Milsurp forum, but I believe I've bought things at this site before. I live in Wyoming, work in the oilfied. Served in the Marine Corps for 4 years and the Wyo. National Guard for 4 yrs while in college. The M-1 Garandicon is my favorite rifle but I own all the WWII rifles except the Carcano(maybe someday, but I doubt it). I'm always seeking information on WWII weapons, mostly because I like to learn things. Sometimes because I'm looking to buy. The knowledge I can gain here will be appreciated and shared( 2 sons who are gun nuts like their dad). Thank You
