A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Hi! I am a new Brit member and would to send a greeting to you colonials, enjoying yourselves in the good old USAicon. Just give us a thought when you are down the range with your automatic rifles and centre fire revolvers, lugers, wathers etc., while we have to be content with percussion revolvers and single shot full bore rifles.

As a microscopist [retired] and knowledgable about lenses and have a small manufacturing base , I can help with optical gunsight problems.

Currently I have a Win P14, Enfield Nos 4 Mk1 and a vey accurate Australianicon Army Spartco M44 I use for game shooting. The usual range of shot guns one tends to aquire and two percussion revolvers, bye for now.

    Hey Guys,
I am new here. Just registered. Been collecting for the last 25 Years before that couldn't afford to collect anything because of raising kids. Now all the kids are grown and I am having the time of my life collecting WW2 1911a1's; M1icon carbine's and a few lugers once in a while. If I can ever help anyone just drop me a line. Welcome home all you Viet Nam vets - Dont forget to thank a vet, he's the reason we can enjoy this hobby.
    Yours in Collecting,
    Tom (45TAA45)

    Hello,
I'm new to this site. I am interested in surplus military weapons and uncovering the history of each one that I get. I am a small time collector and currently have about 30 weapons, about 50% surplus military, 30% rifles and shotguns from the 1930 - 1950 era and 20% modern day stuff.
I have a class 3 FFL and look forward to gaining some new insight from the knowledgeable folks here. The internet has opened up a whole new world to the collector and has a wealth of information. Thanks for letting me into your community.

    Mike

    Hello,
I am a new member who is particularly interested in collecting and shooting Springfield M1903A3, Colt M1911A1 and Enfield No4's. I specifically joined to find out more about the M1903A3 as they are very uncommon over here. I would like to build a repro M1903A4 on an original A3 and was wondering if any members have any direct experience with the M1D repro scope offered by Numrich and if they can be used with the no gunsmithing type mounts.

I would be pleased to hear from anyone willing to share they're experience.

    Thanks
