    Hello Everyone

A newbie to this forum. I found it while searching info on M1icon Garands.

I own a HRA M1 and just recently aqquired a IHC M1 serial # 44604_ _. It looks to be an original IHC. Not sure about the stock it has no visible markings on the outside. Kinda cool because i live in Evansville where they were produced.
I look forward to chatting and getting more info to the history of my M1's.

    Thanks
    Glen

I want to say hello as a new member to the forum. I am a new owner of an Inland M1icon carbine made in 3-44. I hope to pick your brains on Inlands and carbines in general. Thanks!

Talking Greetings from a Liberal Gun Geek

Hi everybody. I'm a 40-ish gun enthusiast who doesn't own any guns due to living circumstances but I am an avid amateur researcher on the history of firearms and their effect on the world. Forgive me if my comments tend to be long winded but Forums like this are the only place I can jabber on about my theories and collected knowledge without somebody calling the cops.
I call myself a Liberal Gun Geek because I don't fear President Obama taking guns away(as the HBO show Newsroom pointed out, he hasn't done anything concerning guns at all)and I live in a state that is incredibly Liberal with its gun laws. In Washington state, you don't need a license just valid ID, address and a clean criminal record(handguns are registered with police upon purchase and have a 5 day background check/wait period). And we have no magazine capacity limits.
So I hope to share this forum with all of you for a long time to come!

    M1 .22

    Hi Folks,
This is my first time to post,
I have one of Citadels M1icon .22LR carbines and have put about 400 rounds through it,
using standard CCI with little or no trouble, as far as grouping is concerned, from the bench at fifty yards she will hold a 2inch group
The only problem I have found is that it tend to shoot to the right and since the rear sight is the only one that moves, you end up with it off center.
Havs anyone else had this problem??
I would be very glad to hear from anyonr else that has one and get their your opinion on this little rifle.
