    If carbine ammo could talk.........

I don't remember where I got it, but for some reason I have about a dozen rounds of this stuff. (2) of them are the 52 and the rest is 43. The year my Dad was born while his Dad was in Ireland, being staged for the "Invasion".

You may want to check that LC 52 before you fire it. LC made ammo in 1952 with silver and gold primers with most being the silver color BUT the fake Chinese made LC 52 all have gold colored primers which are considered to be corrosive. If you can pull a round to be sure. It will have the two small flash holes of a berdan primed case which would be the fake Chinese made ammo and you don't want to shoot any of it. One centered flash hole would be for a boxer primer and would be the real LC ammo.

I wasn't planning on firing it. But thank you. I only had two rounds of the 52 stuff. And I'm not sure I want to get rid of the 43 stuff. It's not enough to matter. I suppose it might be interesting. But I like looking at that number on there.

Any "fake" problems with the 67 LC with silver primers? This is the first I heard of the "fake" China junk

Only LC-52 headstamps are the ones to watch. Gold colored primer in all of the fake Chinese made ammo. Your LC 67 is good to go. The boxes of this fake ammo are marked 7.62 on a plain cardboard box with what looks like it was just stamped on the box and not printed.
