    Another 1884 Trapdoor Rifle.

    I just traded for this '84 Trapdoor. The serial number corresponds with the stock cartouche as being manufactured in 1890. Pretty clean rifle with a great bore and New Jersey marked.







    What appears to be marks on the stock are actually artifacts from the lighting

    Needs a good work out at the range. They can be quite accurate with good BP loads.

    I traded a Beretta 92FS that I paid $300 for (used) about ten years ago. They sell used for about $500-600 around here. I am not that much into late model 9mm guns anymore, and am mostly buying older S&W's nowadays. I don't think I stole it or anything, but I do feel that it was a fair trade.
