I just received a couple of tools from the eBay seller noted above in this thread. They look like very good quality. The company (Matrix) has a website and it turns out that you can buy some of his stuff direct and save a few dollars - same free shipping too. - Bob

I bought one back in October, have used it twice and it worked well. I have replace a ton of them with a wood dowel and hammer this is much easier.

    Update

In a hurry, I misaligned my Matrix rear sight tool a little and caught the corner of the sight dovetail while pushing the sight, chipping the edge of the delrin plastic end pad on the pusher bolt. My fault. I am very thankful the pad is plastic and did NO damage to my receiver as a result of my improper use. The tool was still very operable but, anal as I am, I e-mailed Matrix and asked if I could BUY another delrin tip for the pusher. David at Matrix asked for my mailing address and mailed several extra tips to me, along with instructions for easy replacement - no charge, not even postage. That is going the extra mile to stand behind your products. IMHO this is a great tool and a great company. ChipS

I bought every carbine tool they sell all for $100 !! The rear sight took on gunbroker by everyone's favorite seller in California ( haha ) is $250, I emailed the matrix guy and told him to start selling on gunbroker just so he hurts George's sales ! Sarco is selling matrix' rear sight tool with a HUGE mark up

I thought the nylon barrel blocks for a vice looked ok also $ 10.00 but I guess you could make your own. I could not see much price difference in ordering from the mfg.

DickX's comment was probably directed toward this quote from me. After ordering from eBay, I found the Matrix website and saw a couple of items listed there that were cheaper. - Bob
