carcano 6.5x52 and bayonet plus an original sling
Well I am new at this and was looking up things about the carcano 6.5x52 rifle. It has a sling with the markings of SA stamped on it, the rifle has 1B and Terni and 1A5952 stamped on barrel, I have had it for about 40 years and I shot it 1 time, The bayonet has an S 1942 and I can not read the ps 9 real good real fine shape both rifle and bayonet but the sling has signs of drying out. This post may not interest anyone but it was nice to say something about my rifle that I have been trying to get ammo for it. thanks everybody

Hello to all. Especially Harlan, whose very useful photos of an original M1903A3, I stole yesterday.
I've been shooting 50 years, reloading for 45, and stuck on milsurp for 3. My M1A told me iron sights was the way to go. So I got his daddy M1 Garand, and grand daddy M1903A3.
I found this forum while researching a Mr. Bill Bentz

Finally found the light.
Well, I have been checking out this site for many years and finally came to the conclusion that this site is the best one for a person that cares about military rifles. Thanks to Claven 2 for pointing out that this site offers a whole bunch more than others.
I hope I can contribute to this forum. Dave

halftracks and miltary rifles
Hi , new to Milsurls
just recently purchased a rather beat up halftrack, but it runs and will be lots of fun to find all the missing parts.
currently constructing a repro M2 (WWII) and the M9 (Vietnam) flamethrower, with all new castings. coming along well.
have an early Enfield with lots of questions I hope to get answered from the extensive knowledge base on this site

Hello everyone - I've been reading here for many years and always been impressed by the quality of information and discussion here, and figured Anzac Day was as good a day to any to finally sign up.
My interests are largely British military service firearms but I like to think I'm a fairly well-rounded military small arms historian if nothing else, so I'm looking forward to exploring the various forums and categories and seeing what new things I can discover, learn about, or enhance my understanding of.
Anyway, hello again and I look forward to being part of the community here!

Newbie
Hi all. I'm new to the site. Not been shooting that long so i'm probably going to be posting more questions than answers. Especially after seeing some of the big names you have on here (been reading the posts for some time but never got round to registering). Got a pretty rapidly growing collection of Enfields though :-)
