    No 32 Scope Brass Mount

After some research recently into the IDF No 32 scope I noticed the one kept in the Israeli small arms museum collection is mounted on a 4T using a Brass mount copy of our Brit model, having got one of these the same I had thought the mount might be home made but it
now appears correct for the IDF version, could this be the reason Peter has been asked in the past if we used brass and rightly had to go to great lenths to point out we did not ?( sorry if this has already been covered) any info /comments appreciated

Which scope at the IDF museum?? The scope on the rifle or the scope in the can?? Horizontal showcase facing the door ???
The Israeli tubes are brass and there was some brass mounts made for some of the early Goldberg 32 type scopes but many were put into Britishicon cast mounts.

IIRC Charnwood had one or two of the brass mounts many years ago - they certainly attributed them to the Israelis.

The "Top Secret" and super rare Brass mount was secretly developed for the Swissicon Navy so the Marine Snipers of the Kosher Division could shoot the horns off sea mines. the Brass mount meant that the sea water would have no effect on the mating surfaces.
