I have to agree with Cinders on this one; it hadn't crossed my mind that anyone would collect stripper clips, either.

Not a collector, but I do have roughly 20 of the MkII chargers. I just prefer them over the Mk IVs I have.

But likewise, I had them all. They worked the same as all my different M1 clips. A working collection.

Glad to see some of you blokes calling them magazine chargers! :-)
On another forum, one chap froths at the mouth if the term "Stripper clips" is used. LOL!

"Stripper clip" is an unfortunate bit of Yankee ingenuity resulting from a long US tradition of calling everything "clip" rather than making a functional distinction between clips that are loaded into the magazine (necessary for operation) and chargers used only to facilitate rapid loading. To alleviate confusion, these linguistically-deprived folks have added "stripper" to create a two-word compound - which somehow makes more sense to them than simply using "charger". Baffling!
