    1903A3 Sling

    Hi All,
    On A sling for a A3, would the hooks be steel or brass?

    They would at the very least be steel or by then perhaps a canvas sling. Remember it mattered only to QM that a sling was issued and if there were a number of steel, brass and canvas examples they would all be issued and that was fine. No one cared...a sling is a sling.

    Sling

    Hi Jim,

    I guess you're right. Just a another piece of equiptment.
    Kinda like cartridges, If they fire is all that's necessary. You don't care where they were made.
