This scope has been discussed before Peter L reckons it is a bit of a dead horse and the internals may be like the outside Buyer Beware..................

That is one messed up scope!

It is a bog standard No32 Mk1 scope that has been totally knackered. Specifically, the anti-rotation peg & even its housing have been completely removed (presumably so it would fit in commercial mounts), the drums have had the factory knurling filed off & for some reason the butchered drums have then had knurling very amateurishly hand filed back in place; the 'rails' that run round the erector cell locking segment area have been largely removed.
It's actually been on for several weeks - started off at about 5 grand & has slowly been dropping more & more as no one bites. It is possible to restore it but it would be such an undertaking you'd want to be given it for it to be worth a try!

Hi All,
Thanks everybody, I've not seen markings like that before, and didn't want to start a fight, as I'm no expert, but the " I can't believe more people don' t know what this is" got me.
I'm Sorry to bother everyone I didn't realise this scope had already done the rounds. I've not seen it before, and $2,200 seems like a price for a good scope, anyhow appreciate the responses. Looked like it had been really butchered somewhere, if real.
Regards Ian
