Just a guess - but looks like a rare British
manufactured double 50 rd drum pouch for the Thompson SMG

Yeah, that's it...I was going to ask is it a gas mask bag? It's kind of cockeye'd so I can't tell...from here.

If there are no /|\ id's on the slings they almost look like single point target rifle slings

I will get some better photos of the pouch. The color is OD not the washed out color in the photo and had a lift the dot closure on the small compartment.

slings but not the extra flap. My exposed rifles can't confirm either.
That was my inclination on both but the light one is to narrow for a MAS sling and as you noted no tab.

The middle picture looks very much like the leather and length adjusting pin from a snake buckle belt that may have been modified or shortened.

(1) The pouch is not British
, the hardware (buckle and lift the dot fastener) is U.S. in style and if the color is OD as you said in post #7, it is an American bag but for what purpose I have no idea.
(2) The worn, medium brown sling is Swedish
for the M96 Mauser.
(3) The light color sling may be for a South American Mauser.

Nice, I couldn't see that though... That would make it likely a US Musette bag then?
