    French M1935-A?

I'm pretty certain mine is a post-war refurb....has the added lanyard staple with the grip cut to clear. I don't think the serial numbers match frame and slide...no numbers on the barrel or hammer pack.

So trivial Frenchicon pistol question of the day...did the Mle 1935-A pistols have numbered frames and slides?

    Thanks and happy holidays HT

Look on the bottom of the slide for a serial number.

It does have numbers on the bottom of the slide....with the slide front-end up has a 1 over a 2 over a 3 interspersed with some proof stamps and a letter or two. Not a serial # format I'm familiar with. Doesn't match anything on the frame for sure.

Something that looks more like a partial serial number on the slide is a three digit number stamped on the very front below the barrel hole....doesn't match the frame serial either.

Like I say...I don't think the pistol is a matching number gun....but I know not much about the M1935-A either
