Mass Arms Maynard revolver
I have a pocket model. Early one that you manually rotate. Missing trigger guard and button. Also something at the tip of the cylinder pin.
Any information or help would be appreciated.

I tried to add pictures from my email. I'm just not good with that stuff.

What a neat, neat little gun Don, thanks for sending pics. It uses the roll of caps like a cap-gun, like the Herkimer rifle of same era. The "Maynard tape primer"... Very, very neat little revolver, the guys are going to like this one.
I added some pics of an original so the guys are going to be able to see what you need and what it looks like. I'd think they need to be made from scratch?

That is cool, I like how if you have a chainfire there's basically no risk of the gun failing as there isn't really anything in the way to hit.

The number 196 stamped in the side of the action would lead me to believe that someone had registered it at one time I have seen plenty done like that the police are overjoyed at stamping numbers all over valuable antiques. Out of pure ignorance I guess
