The retaining ring for your lower hand guard is marked E for Eddystone. I'm sure if you broke it down to every individual part there would be more that's unmatching even if just small parts. 104 is a lot of years and its been through a lot of hands so it's almost impossible for this not to happen. My 100% matching metal 11/18 M1917 has an Eddystone stock which is the only non matching part. What can you do?
I noticed in the photos from your 1st post a gap under the barrel when you look at the rifle from the front where the W is at the end of the stock. Accuracy will be improved if you fill that gap with some wood wedges so there is slight upward pressure at the centerline of the bore. As good as these rifles were when they were made over 100 year old wood dries and shrinks there's nothing much that can stop that. The only remedy is to replace the wood that shrinks away.
ETA: Here are my 1917 and P14 to illustrate what I'm referring to.

I have two winchester LL rifles. both have small import stamps on the underside of the barrel. Both have excellent bores. One is a complete mix master while the other is all winchester ,from what I can tell.

Also, Interesting crown stamp. Anyone seen it before?
