Just purchased a beautiful Jenks Rifle that is missing its front, brass, barrel band/w sight blade. Looking for a gunsmith/craftsman who is comfortable with brass and can fabricate the band. Thanks, Randy

Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Good Afternoon,

Back from the range and the Jenks shot very well with its newly made front band/sight. There was a bit of blowback but I got used to it and the musket was in the blak at 50 yards. A .526 ball with 40 grains of 1F powder was just fine.
