A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. All changes made. I suspect Jawes has one of the larger collections of 90Ls in existence.
Seems like more of the rifles have not been showing up lately. Eventually they will surface.

    from the original post:
90L8219........................................nco zzo..........................Butt shows scope number 227C, no scope presently

which is interesting because 90L8212 rings have 227c as the scope

I have acquired a Lyman Alaskan with Britishicon Broad Arrow (not C), serial 4595S.
Is it one of the 350 used on Enfield Sniper?

That scope is within the serial range of the no32TP.

If it's the scope posted on snipershide the other day, yes, quite probably it is a Canadianicon contract.

    90L8273-348c scope
on rifle 90L8024 marked to 24C,
but that 24C looks like an overstamp to me of the orginal scope number.

    previously sold at Rock Island A 12.3.17 https://www.rockislandauction.com/Lot 3391
