Great photos. The bottom one is the way I have mine set up with the exception of the brass button. I think I have that with the flat side toward the stock. The leather is turned correctly but I figured the flat side would be less of a marring threat to the stock than the other smaller but deeper side.

Thanks again, Got one identified. Still at a loss with the sling with the leather laces on both ends and button hooks on each end.
