    Hello.
Have always been fascinated with history, especially WWI and WWII, as well as the equipment used. Looking forward to attaining knowledge.

I have a 1888 Commission Carbine left to me by my father and a few other sporting firearms.

I'm a new member. My interest was sparked when my grandfather showed me his DWM Bulgarian Luger when I was 12. Later, I bought an m91 Mosin. Then a Turkishicon Mauser, and a Russianicon SKS. Recently, I started messing around with Garands. I gave up on a Drill rifle and purchased another Garandicon to replace it. I love my Garand. I also have an AR, but it really isn't a milsurp.

Live near Portland, Oregon. Lots of 3-gun competition shooting, prefer rifles though. The longer the range the more I enjoy it.

Hi I am a new member that has always been interested in all things military.
Currently I am in to collecting old Britishicon army rifles and seeing how they compare.
I have some Sniders / Martini Henry's and recently aquired a couple of winchester P14's to go with my .303 Enfields.

I am particularly interested in which Regiments the P14 was issued to in the First world War. I hear a lot about them being re-issued to the Home Guard in the second World War but if over a million were made surely they were not just held in reserve during the 1914/1918 conflict- yet all the regiments I research were using the Enfield.

    Best wishes Warren ( keltic0_1)

    Hi all-
I'm a new member from Texas. I am an avid shooter of sporting clays, handguns and rifles.
Many years ago (50 to be exact) when I was in the Army I purchased a Springfield 1903 A3 from a gunstore in Alexandria VA. In my youth and being somewhat dumb I "sportarized" it by chopping up a perfectly good original stock. Recently I came upon a complete stock with all the fittings for the rifle and put it back into its proper shape.
I joined this group to learn more about the rifle and perhaps begin collecting additional mil surp rifles. I am sure I will be asking for help and judging from the folks on these forums I am hopeful that you will suffer my questions.

I'm a new member. I have been collecting mostly military WWII guns and equipment. I also have some items from family members who were veterans of WWI WWII Korea. I enjoy history and especially WWII history. I hope to learn from and enjoy sharing information with other members. I am a CMPicon member and a member of the Thompson Collectors Association and Garandicon Collectors Association. I'm on the MGboards.com, also.
