A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Don as far as I know, they are Dupage stocks. I had "heard" they were Boyds stocks redone by Dupage??? but the last 4 or 5 that I have seen / installed have been very nice. a lot of the problems that the Boyds had were taken care of with this stock. very good fit with the CMPicon stock, and they looked pretty good also. great deal for the money. the 1903 stocks they have are also nice too.

The birch stock that came on my Winchester from the CMPicon Shaping and refinishing new birch CMP wood - Military Surplus Collectors Forums has a Boyds stamp in the barrel channel. I believe Dupage reshapes Boyds stocks and then supplies them to the CMP.

I have purchase two and have been very happy with both. They simply drop in with no fitting and they feel good when I shoot. I recommend them highly.
