Hi Dave,
over here you can get $45 to $90. It depends on the condition and the buyer. On the buckle you can see that it is an early one, the later ones didnt have the" Gott mit uns ", because Hitler hate religion.

Sorry, but the info about the Gott Mit Uns on the bucke is wrong! This was never removed from buckels or anything else that it was on at the start of the war. The only thing that changed over the course of the war is the type metal the buckle was made of and how it was made - cast/molded or stamped.
The marking look like it is on the leather tab sewn onto the buckle, Not on the belt. Any markings on the belt would normaly be found on the end close to the hook. Size marking, if any, would be on the tip at the oposite end = 85 or 105 usv.
If marked the belt will bring a bit more than unmarked, but around $50-75. The buckle will bring about the same since it is an early buckle and has the tab.

Sarge,
yep you`re right! Last week i read an article about the buckle. Hitler would change the "Gott mit uns" into the same like the SS had "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". But for the less time and that it was a logistic desaster to change millions of buckles they let it be. Seems that it worried me.
All the best

I have a simiar story. I too was given a German Army belt which I wore on my jeans in university 66-70 and for a while thereafter. I think today we'd be seen as neo-Nazis. Times have changed. If you still have the belt and wish to sell it, pls let me know.

I would be interested in purchasing it. Shoot me a PM if you determine a price.
