hi all, thank you for the help. So i am looking for rear handguard rivet options. I have done some web searching and here on the forum and it seems that people are making them by hand. has anyone tried a threaded option similar to the front?

What about these for the rear handguard? I do not have dimensions for them, maybe someone else does.

I have a Prestigious Wood stock set install on my LSA No1 Mk3 so I am in the same boat.

I also have ordered the Prestigious Wood handguards but have not received them yet. What did you think of them?

I am stuck out of town, so I haven't had them in my hand yet. Here are a couple of pics of my set. They shipped immediately and I received them in about 4-5 days which is pretty amazing considering the current craziness.

I have a No4 Mk1 (T) that I am looking for a new Sykes forend to install. If I can't find one of those, I am considering ordering a Prestigious set for it too.

What about using a brass machine screws and threaded washers in place of the rivet? I would think you would have to grind the screw down to make it look similar to the rivet as you would see it on top of the rear handguard. The picture is just an example of what i mean and not necessarily what could be used. Just a thought.

Also, I got my front and rear handguards from Prestigious Wood today. They are very well done and should look great with my original forend. Which reminds me. The front handguard has a slight peak to it down the top center. Is this how they are supposed to be or do i need to round the top out? Their website did say there would be some minor finishing and fitting. From what i can see they are very close to being drop in. I just wanted to confirm about the peak before i started on finishing them. I picked up some raw linseed oilicon for that.

I would think that a screw and nut would be too thick under the spring clip against the barrel. It might work though. Worth trying it without grinding so it's removable if it doesn't work.
