Congrats Tanker...Looking forward to pictures.
Funnily enough I was at the big show here in Calgary, Alberta today and there were three Johnsons for sale, ranging from "as is" for $1800 Canadian, through $3300 and I didn't catch the price on the third one. I don't think I've seen three Johnsons, period, prior to today. They were all there at the end of the day, so will likely be there for any Canadian seekers tomorrow for day two, I'm sure.

My new Johnson
Many thanks to all who replied. Here is a link to pictures of my new Johnson.

It's in even better condition than the pictures show. Just wish it had the original front sight. I did find a bayonet lug for it, but no bayonet or front sight yet. I would also like some old military wood for it. The wood on it now is really nice, but too shiney to look "military". The blueing job I'll have to live with. I have the facilities to parkerize it, but that darned blueing on the thing is almost perfect and beautiful. Anyone who has any Johnson parts please email me:

I saw a Johnson for sale Saturday at the Vallejo, Ca Gunshow. Stan had it on his table.
