Been having the same problems. I'm catching it two ways, in addition to the IE malfunctions the at&t take over of alltel is causing even more problems with my wireless service. Well at least I know now the new 'puter ain't got brain damage. I was about ready to stick a shoot n see on it and head to the range for a bit of target practice.
Working ok today
Playing up again.......bugger.
Is it ok now?
Sometimes the web page style gets corrupted from so much activity ...
I think I fixed it... make sure you clear your local cache on your browser, so you're seeing a new refreshed page version and not an old local cached page on your end.

Doug

Yes, it's good to go this morning,, on Safari anyway.
It's fine here too this morning.

It's faster to reply to this thread than try to start another:
I'm having problems connecting to this site (not any others) and I use Safari. Just getting into the site at all takes several minutes. Clicking on a thread, ditto. I find the gunboards pages load quite slowly, but they do get there in the end. The last day or two here is really quite frustrating, often the site just hangs up and sits there, going nowhere.
Hi Steve...
It sounds like you've got a severe restriction in the bandwidth being delivered between your location and your ISP (Internet Service Provider), who then connects from their location out to a larger Internet backbone.
Have you tried running a speed test to see what performance your ISP is giving you? Here's an example..
Bell Canada Internet Speed Test
You can use this test for ANY Internet provider service..
I use Bell's DSL service, which is all that's available where I live and it's rated at 6 Mb. Here's an example of my most current test.

Our system software identifies you as running on Apple OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.5 and using Safari 6.2 for a Mac as well. I personally run OSX El Capitan 10.11.1 with Safari 9.0.1 for the Mac and it performs very well. I also use FireFox 42.0 for the Mac with good results.
Finally, if at any time you want to check the status of our own website to see if it's down, then click on this link and save it as a bookmark in your web browser for future use:
