Griswold Bag
Hello all, this is my first time on the site and need some help to ID a Griswold carbine holster. Looks original, has part number and insignia, attaching buckle has markings that look to be A-G-41. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi to all
Hello, As indicated, I am a new member and live in west central Florida. I have been a collector of firearms both civilian and military up to the introduction of the 'black guns' in current popularity.
My joy comes from acquiring the 1800's through 1950's, doing a minimal amount of cosmetic cleaning, and then wondering what that particular weapon has seen in it's lifetime.
I once obtained an Arasaka 38 from a national importer that, upon cleaning, netted a good teaspoon of beach sand mixed with the cosmoline. I also have an 1878 Husqvarna model 17 damascus shotgun where the front sling loop screw was lost and then repaired with a horse shoe nail!
I am grateful for the internet for providing information in a flash that use to take months or more to acquire and I look forward to reading and contributing to this group whenever I can.
