A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Smiling Tiger Bolt

    Hello,

I have a Lee Enfield Rama IVth Smiling Tiger BSA Contract 1920 rifle. Serial number is 1091 on the rifle, but bolt is mismatched. I know it is a long shot, but any chance someone has this bolt or close to the number? I have a bolt numbered 8461 in there at the moment and am willing to trade/buy the bolt.

    Yours,
    Drachenblut

1903 Bolt with R5 on Bottom of Bolt Handle

This would be correct for a 1918 RIA 1903

    Thanks
