Hello everyone, my name is Mike Ryan and I am a Retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces, EME Branch. I joined in Hopes of finding someone in Canadaicon that might have a Lee Enfield No4 MK1 for sale. I would like to have this model in full wood as it is the rifle my Grandfather carried during WW2. If anyone out there has one for sale you can contact me at mike@lakecomm.ab.ca

    Thank You

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Hello to all!

    New Member sign in
I just signed up and want to say Hello!
I am a life long ejoyer of all things Military always enjoying "Playing" with the things my father brought home from his adventures with Fritz in his travels across Europe in WWII. that took him across Franceicon into Austriaicon at the end of the War against the 10 SS.
This lead me to Gunsmithing School and into the Army upon completion and service with the Army Marksmanship Unit and to a continuation with my lifelong loveaffair with reloading and all things shooting especailly anything military.
One of the things I was always fascianted with was the old Webley's which I have never had the luck of owning but did manage to get Dave Corbin to make me up some dies and punches to produce the old Mk III and Mk IV designes that I enjoy shooting in a Judge and Colt .45. They do a nice job in Blastic Gel let me tell you. Bob Shell says they shoot great out of a original Webley and happy to share with anyone else wanting to try some!
Been meaning to join you "Band of Brothers" for sometime but like most things in life. Life seems to get in the way of doing what we want most in life but here I am. I look forward to many happy exchanges in the future with many like minded new friends!
    Good Shooting to all,
    John

    Hello all.

I have been a member for a while, learned lots through all of your posts (tuition free!). Just realized I'd never properly introduced myself.

Hopefully one day will be able to contribute to the forum in some way, as I have been helped many times just by reading here.

    Hi Everyone.

Thought I should finally introduce myself. Have been here for awhile, hence the username.

    My obsession is Lee Enfields.

Thanks to all who contribute. I have already learnt a lot.

    Regards

    Mark

Land Rover says Hello from New Zealand

Hi Guys, how's it going. One of my interests in playing around with sporterised .303 rifles for shooting Deer, Pigs and Goats here in New Zealandicon. There are heaps of old .303 Lee Enfields here to chose from. Although they are getting more expensive by the day. I have a No4 mk1 .303 and a No4 MkI* .303-25 and a P14 .303-25 all are capable of inch groups or better at 115 yards. I enjoy re-working the stocks and bedding the actions etc to produce better accuracy. I re-load my ammo as well.
