Kokura uses the same marking and production continues to the end of the war. Someone should have an approximated date based on the serial number but I don't know of a list.

The rifle is a Koishikawa not a Kokura . The date is about the mid to late teens . There is a list of dates made with educated guessing . The Kokura T-38 quit production in 1940 , not the end of the war .

Well mine is also a Koshikawa like this one but in the mid 500,000 serial number range. I had it looked at and several experts over in multiple forums have put an approximate date of manufacture at around 1915 so that could give the OP a base line as his is in the mid 700,000 range. My guess would be in the late teens to maybe early twenties but more towards the late teens (1917-1919).

Thanks folks. I'd guessed around the same vintage, I appreciate the confirmation. I hadn't realized that they were longer overall than a Mosin, I had to reorganize my safe when I took delivery .
