I know what you asked for and these guys might have them...but I would try the brass at least. A box isn't too pricey. If you fire them in your gun they should fit back in. Bullets might be a bit loose but you aren't doing fire and movement...just range. If you got the dies they would be a better item after...

I have fabricated both .577 Snider and .577/.450 Martini Henry from CBC brass 24ga shotshell hulls.
The Snider cases are easy to make as they simply require trimming to length. The only issues I've had with the CBC brass shells is that you may find one or two per box that have an over-size primer hole and will not keep a primer.
I use Lee dies for both calibers which require a large press that will accept 1 1/4" dies...a Lee classic press works well

There's a discussion about plastic shells here. Seems they're not suitable. reloading plastic 24 gauge shot shells for snider
I have a .pdf how-to for making a reloadable .577/450 case out of 3/4" brass bar stock if you want it. Basically turns the rifle into a .45-70. PM me your E-mail.
"...require a large press that will accept 1 1/4" dies..." This is important.

Seems you have no idea. Take it from one that's done it, they work fine until you can find some brass cases.

Bill: There is a fellow in Washington State (X-Ring Services) who sells ready to shoot, formed Snider brass (made from Magtech 24g brass). Some guys fireform these in their Sniders with roundballs, others with .575 minie's which can be purchased from different sellers. After fireforming the current trend for top accuracy is to use .60 solids which can usually just be thumbed into the case and glued in place with lube. The fellow in Washington also sells .60 moulds. Downside to these bigger bullets is that, for top accuracy, it seems some additional lube beyond what the grooves will hold is necessary. Personally I still like using the .575 minies after resizing with Lee dies as they more closely replicate the original Snider Govt. ammo and the bullet is firmly held in place. They also seem to work well with nothing more than beeswax in the grooves. If you go to British Militaria Forum there is a pile of material on Snider loading.

I picked up a full box of loaded cartridges. Problem is they don't quite fit. I have to shave the bullets down a bit as I believe they are not inserted quite far enough and they are hitting the rifling. Have not tried firing any of them yet. I believe the fellow is from Virginia. Used brass shotgun shells. I have seen the videos of the plastic shells and it looks pretty easy to do. You can load them by hand with no press needed.

Exactly, I remember having to cut them a bit for length and then they pressed in. Easy to load right on the firing point, just tap the primer out and hand prime, then the rest is like the old days.
