    Pattern 1918 scope for sale

Just arrived on eBay, a pattern 1918 /1 AUST scope on ebay, here's the link:

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Lee-Enfield-303-SMLE-Lithgow-Sniper-Scope-patt1918-Aust_W0QQitemZ130311041041QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_De faultDomain_15?hash=item1e5724b011&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A1|66%3A2|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A0| 293%3A1|294%3A50

Quite amazing how much that auction is already up to, the scope and case are original, however the bases don't match, from my reckoning the front is a lithgow HT base and the rear is a P14 base.

    Rifle number 82611

Pretty sure I know who is selling, tried to get him to sell a few months ago but he was stuck in flooded central Australiaicon. What a shame it was listed on ebay. But I think he had 2 available.......

Also attached is a plagiarized photo.... glad I got mine a couple of months ago and didn't have to pay these sort of prices.
