    1903 A2...Huh?

    Sorry if this is a repost, but I did look first...

    When did the Gov stop using the A2 sub cal device and build them back into rifles? With a star gauge barrel no less? It looks really nice, but out of my price range, with the lingering doubt of it being a home-made parts gun.

    iv seen a few that were taken back into service as a rifle.
    the others iv seen were star gauged as well.

    They were obsolete by the end of WWII and converted back to rifles thereafter.
