1903 Manufactured Springfield 1903
Looking for information on the following cartouches on this rifle I just purchased.
I think one is PODD. Can’t make out the double stamped?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Southforkroad, sorry, I can't give any information on what you're looking for. I just wanted to say I love the stylised serial number stamp. Very nice looking rifle btw.

Probably O.G.E.K which was a rebuild stamp used at Ogden, UT facility. Some of the stamps were associated with the famous shooter and writer Elmer Keith.

PODD rebuild Philippine Ordnance Depot
Most of the PODD stamps (last D is inspector) Have the BA-WL or variations of the inspector stamps and never seen the PODD with Ogden Arsenal stamp. When the Japanese invaded the Philippines the POD disappeared for good.
Here is a photo of my Springfield 1903 with a SA 2-18 dated barrel and PODD and BA-WL
