    Another Scope Mount ...

Lee Enfield L42A1 Sniper Rifle IWS Scope Mount Bracket Exact Replica Made in CAN
(found on fleaBay): "This is an exact replica of the mount made to fit the "Image-intensifying Weapons Sight" ("IWS") to the L42A1 sniper's rifle."

    Comments?????

Looks like you could use it for scopes not limited to 1 inch tubes. And supposedly fits the same lugs.

I really think they're quite good...
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.

I agree. They are perfect and have been trialled thoroughly.

You can obtain STANAG rings and use them successfully to mount larger 30mm scopes. I use to get the rings from IOR/Valdata. They are every bit as good as the ARMS manufactured ones and much more reasonably priced.

We trialled one on a slave L42 used for testing No32 and L1A1 telescopes for 'fastness' after repair and the IWS mounts were perfect. Even better is that they were made from the original drawings. Get one while you can

Very grateful for all answers. So ... I´ve ordered one. And I like the idea that it comes from Canadaicon.
